The Brunswick Cellar Bar, 3 Holland Road, Hove, BN3 1JQ
Lorenz Attraction are OSC stalwarts Neil Cosgrove and Andy Elmsley. They develop their own open source collaborative DAW – LNX_Studio – which they use to cross-breed analogue toys and unforgiving code to form eclectic electronica pop-beat happenstance. Overflow is Lorenz Attraction’s debut album, which they will be playing in full. Check out the first single off the album “See the Sign / Finding” here: https://lorenzattraction.bandcamp.com/releases.
Cutlasses is the solo project of Scott Pitkethly. The compositions combine field recordings, recorded from various sites around the British Isles, which are heavily manipulated using DIY electronic controllers and effects he has designed and built himself, accompanied by live guitar drones and melodies. Taking cues from the world of sound art but always trying to apply pop sensibilities, the result is lush and cinematic soundscapes topped with delicate melody.
His new album, ‘Clutching At Conscious’ will be available for the first time at the gig, there will be a very limited edition of CD copies of the album with hand block-printed cases, as well as digital downloads.
INVADR (aka Matt Garland) is an audiovisual electronic music act. A continuous live set of melodic, atmospheric and upbeat sounds accompanied by abstract futuristic visuals that react directly to individual aspects of the music.
